I.S. Engineering Co. is an M.S. flange manufacturer in Darukhana, Mumbai, machining IS:2062 mild steel flanges — Table D, Table E, Table F and Table H, blind, weld neck, socket weld, slip-on, male-female and forged — from 15mm NB to 600mm NB. Tell us the nominal bore and table, or send the mating flange dimensions, and the job is machined to that drilling. Buying from the shop floor, not a trading desk.
Table 10 is not a single flange — it is the lettered drilling family that Indian and Gulf piping trades still order by name. Table D is the lightest, Table E is the everyday water and sewage choice, Table F steps up for pumping and process headers, and Table H carries the heaviest duty. Each letter has its own OD, PCD, bolt count and thickness.
Plate and bar come in, finished flanges go out — cutting, turning, facing and drilling all happen under one roof in Darukhana, Mumbai. Before a consignment is crated, someone measures the outside diameter, pitch circle diameter, hole count, hole diameter and thickness against the table you ordered. Test certificates and an inspection record follow on request. GSTIN 27AMZPK5174G1ZE.
Loads leave Darukhana for Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Ahmedabad, Surat, Jamnagar, Delhi and Kolkata, and south to Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Kochi. Export crates ship to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Muscat, Sohar, Doha, Kuwait, Dammam and Jubail with invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and test certificates.
A Mumbai M.S. Flange Manufacturer That Works to the Table, Not to a Catalogue
I.S. Engineering Co. is an M.S. flange manufacturer that opened its doors in Darukhana, Mumbai – 400010 in 1999 and has machined mild steel flanges there ever since. Most of what leaves the shop is Table 10 drilling — Table D, Table E, Table F and Table H — because that is still how water boards, pump builders, fabricators and Gulf project buyers write their enquiries. Around 500 industrial buyers have been supplied over 25-odd years.
Orders arrive in three shapes and all three are welcome: a table letter and a nominal bore ("Table F, 150 NB, twelve off"), a sketch or drawing with your own OD and PCD, or an old flange handed over the counter to be copied. Because the cutting, turning, facing and drilling all happen in-house, none of those three needs to be sub-contracted or re-quoted through a third party.
Beyond table drilling, the same shop turns out blind flanges, welding neck flanges, socket weld flanges, slip-on flat flanges, male-female flanges and forged flanges, in bores from 15mm to 600mm NB, from IS:2062 mild steel plate and bar. Faces are supplied flat or raised to suit the gasket you intend to use.
The firm is GST registered — GSTIN 27AMZPK5174G1ZE — and the office answers Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM IST. Send a bore list or a drawing and a rate normally comes back the same working day, next morning at the latest.

Why Buyers Order Table 10 Flanges From I.S. Engineering Co.
Roughly 500 industrial buyers — water boards, pump and valve builders, fabrication shops, EPC contractors and Gulf traders — have placed flange orders with this Darukhana shop. These are the reasons they gave for coming back.
Since 1999 on the Same Lathe Floor
Twenty-five-plus years of turning flanges in one place means the common Table D, E, F and H sizes are familiar work, not a new setup each time. Awkward bores and odd drillings get quoted from experience rather than guesswork.
You Talk to the People Machining It
There is no sales layer between the enquiry and the machine. Ask why a Table H flange needs a thicker plate, or whether your PCD will clear the bolt heads, and the answer comes from the shop rather than from a brochure.
Rates Quoted Off Weight and Work
A flange price is plate weight plus turning and drilling time, so that is how it is quoted — openly, per piece, with the bulk break-up shown. Repeat and annual-contract buyers get a standing rate they can budget against.
Five Dimensions Checked, Not Assumed
Outside diameter, pitch circle diameter, hole count, hole diameter and thickness are measured against the ordered table before crating. A wrong PCD means a flange that will not bolt up on site, so it is checked rather than taken on trust.
Dispatch Dates Tied to Your Shutdown
Common bores generally move in three to seven working days; heavier Table F and H work and bulk lots in seven to fifteen. If a hydrotest or shutdown date is fixed, say so at enquiry and the job is scheduled against that date, not against a queue.
Project Lots Without Splitting the Order
Mixed schedules — say sixty Table E in four bores plus a dozen Table H — are run as one job with one dispatch, one invoice and one set of paperwork. Marking, tagging and crate lists follow the project's own numbering if you send it.
Drawings, Sketches and Sample Flanges
Send a PDF or DWG, a hand sketch with OD, PCD and hole sizes marked, or simply bring the old flange in. Non-standard drilling, off-table thicknesses and one-off adaptors between two different tables are routine work here.
Paperwork That Clears Inspection
Mild steel to IS:2062, table drilling to the BS 10 lettered charts, GST invoice against GSTIN 27AMZPK5174G1ZE, material test certificates and a dimension record on request, and third-party inspection arranged when the spec demands it. Export orders add invoice, packing list and certificate of origin.
Table 10 Flanges & the Rest of Our Flange Range
Everything below is machined from mild steel plate and bar at Darukhana, Mumbai, in nominal bores from 15mm to 600mm. Table 10 drilling — Table D, E, F and H — is the shop's main line; the remaining types cover blanking, welded and forged joints on the same piping runs.
Table 10
Table 10 Flanges (D / E / F / H)
The shop's main line. Table 10 is the lettered drilling family, and all four common classes are made here — Table D for low-head duty, Table E for general water and sewage, Table F for pumping and process headers and Table H for the heaviest service. Give the bore and the letter and the OD, PCD, hole count, hole diameter and thickness follow from the chart.
Table D / E / F / H15mm–600mm NBFlat or Raised Face
Plain mild steel flanges cut from IS:2062 plate or turned from bar, in bores from 15mm to 600mm NB. Drilling follows whichever chart you name — a lettered table, an ANSI class or your own dimensions — and the face is finished flat or raised to match the gasket. Ordered by water utilities, pump builders and fabrication shops alike.
Solid discs with no bore, used to blank off a pipe end, a vessel nozzle or a valve outlet — during hydrotest, for isolation, or to leave a future tie-in ready. Drilled to the same table as the line flange it bolts against, so a Table F header takes a Table F blind. Machined in every standard bore and to drawing.
Blanking / IsolationMatched to Any TableIS:2062 Plate
The long tapered hub carries the bending load away from the joint and butt-welds straight to the pipe, which is why these are specified where pressure is high or the line heats and cools repeatedly. Standard choice on refinery, petrochemical, steam and boiler feed piping. Bore matched to your pipe schedule.
Butt Weld HubHigh Pressure / Thermal CyclingBore to Pipe Schedule
The isolation set that maintenance crews ask for by name. A spade drops between two flanges to positively block a line, a ring spacer takes its place when flow resumes so the bolt length never changes, and an opening flange gives a bolted access point on a vessel or duct. Cut to the same OD, PCD and thickness as the table you are working to.
Spade / Spacer PairsPositive IsolationCut to Your Table
The pipe end drops into a machined socket and is filled-welded on the outside — a compact joint for small bore lines up to roughly 50mm NB where a butt weld would be awkward to make and radiograph. Common on instrument tappings, hydraulic lines, sampling points and small steam branches.
Up to ~50mm NBInstrument / HydraulicSocket Bore Machined
Drop the flange over the pipe end, weld it front and back, and the joint is made — quickest to set, easiest to square up on site and the least expensive way to flange a line. Sits happily on water mains, HVAC chilled and condenser water, compressed air and general utility headers. Supplied in every standard bore, drilled to the table you name.
Weld Both FacesWater / HVAC / UtilityQuickest to Fit
Supplied as a pair: a raised spigot on the male face seats into a matching recess on the female. The joint locates itself when the bolts go in and the gasket is trapped where it cannot creep outward, which is why these turn up on chemical duty and wherever a line has to be broken and remade often.
Where the specification calls for worked grain flow rather than a plate cut-out, the blank is forged before machining. The result holds up better under sustained pressure, fatigue and temperature, which is what refinery, power station and petrochemical inspectors look for on critical lines. Drilled to your table or to ANSI class.

What every M.S. flange leaving the Darukhana works is actually made to — no invented ratings, just what is genuinely offered.
Flange Material
Standard supply is IS:2062 grade mild steel plate and bar — the structural grade specified for flanged pipework in Indian water, sewage and general industrial service. Flanges leave bare-machined; red oxide primer, black bituminous coating or hot-dip galvanising is applied on request.
Flange Standard
Table drilling follows the lettered tables of the BS 10 flange series (Table D, E, F, H), still the reference most Indian and Gulf piping specifications call out by name. Drawing-based and other chart drillings are machined to the dimensions you supply.
Flange Sizes
Machined from 15mm NB to 600mm NB. Regularly running sizes are 15–350mm NB; 400, 450, 500 and 600mm NB are cut to order. Any bore outside this band is quoted from your drawing.
Flange Classes / Ratings
Duty is set by the table letter rather than a class number — Table D (~50 psi) up to Table H (~250 psi), detailed in the comparison below. These are the customary trade ratings used to choose between tables, not a substitute for a design code or hydrotest pressure.
Flange Facing
Supplied flat face or raised face to suit the gasket you intend to run, across every flange type made here — table drilling, blind, weld neck, socket weld, slip-on, male-female and forged.
Manufacturing Process
Plate or bar is cut, turned, faced and drilled in-house at Darukhana — nothing is sub-contracted between cutting and dispatch. Bore is cut to your pipe OD or schedule; drilling follows the table letter or your drawing.
Quality Inspection
Before crating, outside diameter, pitch circle diameter, hole count, hole diameter and thickness are checked against the ordered table. Material test certificates and a dimensional inspection record are issued on request; third-party (TPI) inspection is arranged when a project specification calls for it.
Custom / Drawing-Based Flanges
Non-standard OD, PCD, bore, thickness, hole count or hole size are machined to a PDF, DWG or a sample flange — common for pump and valve replacements where the original flange no longer matches any current table.

Which Tables Are Included in Table 10?
Table 10 includes four drilling classes — Table D, Table E, Table F and Table H. They are the lettered flange tables of BS 10, and Indian and Gulf piping trades still order by the letter rather than by a bar or PN figure. The letter is not a material grade and not a finish: it is a drilling and thickness pattern. Move up the letters and the flange gets a wider rim, a bigger bolt circle, more or larger bolts and more meat through the hub.
Each table fixes five things for every nominal bore — outside diameter (OD), pitch circle diameter (PCD), number of bolt holes, bolt hole diameter and flange thickness. Two flanges bolt together only when all four of the first values agree. A Table E and a Table F flange of the same bore will not always mate, and that is the single most common reason a consignment gets rejected on site.
How do you tell which table an existing flange is? Measure the outside diameter across the rim, measure the pitch circle centre-to-centre through two opposite holes, count the holes and check a hole diameter, then read those four numbers off the chart for that bore. If you would rather not measure, send a photo with a tape laid across the face on WhatsApp and we will identify it.
Table D – the lightest of the four
Nominally in the region of 50 psi working pressure. Low-head water, tank nozzles, vents and gravity lines. Thinnest section, so it is the cheapest per piece where the duty allows it.
Table E – the everyday choice
Around 100 psi. This is the table most Indian municipal water, sewage and fire-fighting mains are built to, which is why it is the grid published in full alongside.
Table F – the step up for pumps
Around 150 psi. Specified on pumping mains, compressed air headers and process lines where surge or shut-head pressure rules out Table E.
Table H – the heaviest in common use
Around 250 psi. Boiler feed, steam, high-head pumping and hydraulic duty. Thickest section and the largest bolting of the four, so allow for the extra plate weight when budgeting.

Pressure figures are the customary trade ratings for the lettered tables and are given for choosing between them, not for design certification. Where a code case, a hydrotest pressure or a client specification governs, work from that document and we will machine to the dimensions it calls for.

What to send with your enquiry
Any one of these three is enough to get a firm rate back the same working day. The more of the drilling you can confirm, the less chance of a flange that will not bolt up when the crate is opened.
Simplest: table letter, nominal bore and quantity
Safer: add OD, PCD, hole count and hole diameter
Best: a PDF or DWG drawing, or the mating flange
Also tell us: flat or raised face
Also tell us: pipe OD or schedule, so the bore is right
If it matters: your hydrotest or shutdown date
For export: port of discharge and packing preference
Need the Table D, F or H chart in full?
Only the Table E grid is published on this page, and that is deliberate. A flange chart with one wrong PCD costs somebody a site delay, so the Table D, Table F and Table H dimensions go out checked against the reference we machine to rather than copied onto a web page.
Ask for the bore range you actually need and the chart comes back the same working day, as a PDF you can attach to a purchase order.
Table drilling is water-and-utility language, so a lot of this work goes into pumping and treatment. But the same shop feeds refinery, power and marine piping through weld neck, blind and forged flanges. From Mumbai out to south India and across to the Gulf.

Flange Terms, Defined
What is an M.S. flange?
A mild steel disc, drilled with bolt holes around its rim, welded or slipped onto a pipe end so two lengths of pipe (or a pipe and a valve) can be bolted together with a gasket between the faces.
What is a Table E flange?
A BS 10 lettered flange drilled to the Table E pattern, rated around 100 psi, and the default drilling on most Indian municipal water, sewage and fire-fighting mains.
What is a blind flange?
A solid, bore-free flange bolted over a pipe end, nozzle or valve outlet to seal it off — used for hydrotest, isolation, or leaving a future tie-in ready.
What is a welding neck flange?
A flange with a long tapered hub that is butt-welded to the pipe, carrying bending load away from the weld — used where pressure is high or the line cycles hot and cold.
What is a slip-on flange?
A flat flange that slides over the pipe end and is fillet-welded inside and out — the quickest and least expensive way to flange a line.
How do I select the correct flange?
Match three things to the mating flange or valve: the table letter (or class), the nominal bore, and the face type (flat or raised). If unsure, send the old flange's OD, PCD, hole count and hole diameter and we will identify the table.
Table 10 Flanges – Questions Buyers Actually Ask
Straight answers on Table D, E, F and H drilling, sizes, materials, lead time and delivery, from the shop that machines them in Darukhana, Mumbai. Something not covered here? Ring +91 99220 47887.
What are Table 10 flanges?
+
Table 10 flanges are mild steel pipe flanges drilled to the lettered tables of the BS 10 flange series, the table system still written into most Indian and Gulf piping specifications. Rather than a class number, the drilling is called out by a letter such as Table D, Table E, Table F or Table H. Each letter fixes the flange outside diameter, bolt pitch circle diameter, bolt hole count, bolt hole size and flange thickness for every nominal bore. I.S. Engineering Co. machines the Table 10 range from 15mm NB to 600mm NB at its Darukhana, Mumbai works.
Which tables are included in Table 10?
+
The four Table 10 classes Indian and Gulf projects order in volume are Table D, Table E, Table F and Table H. They step up in duty: Table D is the lightest at roughly 50 psi working pressure, Table E takes about 100 psi, Table F about 150 psi and Table H about 250 psi. For the same nominal bore, a heavier table means a thicker flange and heavier drilling. Confirm the table letter written on your line list or valve data sheet before ordering, because a flange from one table will not always bolt to another.
What is the difference between Table D, E, F and H flanges?
+
The difference is drilling and thickness, not bore. For a given nominal bore, Table D and Table E often carry the same outside diameter and bolt drilling with flange thickness being the main change, while Table F and Table H move to a larger bolt pitch circle and bigger or more numerous bolt holes as pressure duty rises. In practice Table D suits low-head water and vent duty, Table E is the default on municipal water, sewage and fire mains, Table F is specified on pumping mains, compressed air and process headers, and Table H is used on boiler feed, steam and high-head pumping service.
What sizes of Table 10 flanges does I.S. Engineering Co. make?
+
Table 10 flanges are made from 15mm NB up to 600mm NB. Regularly moving sizes are 15, 20, 25, 32, 40, 50, 65, 80, 100, 125, 150, 200, 250, 300 and 350mm NB, with 400, 450, 500 and 600mm NB cut to order. Anything outside that band, or any non-standard drilling, is machined against your drawing.
Can a Table E flange bolt to a Table F flange?
+
Only when the outside diameter, bolt pitch circle diameter, bolt hole count and bolt hole diameter of both flanges match. The Table 10 letters are drilled differently as duty rises, so two different tables in the same nominal bore will not always line up, and forcing a mismatched pair is how site teams end up with leaking joints and re-drilled flanges. Send both table letters and the nominal bore to I.S. Engineering Co. before you order and we will confirm whether the pair mates or whether an adaptor flange is needed.
How do I identify which table an existing flange belongs to?
+
Measure four things on the old flange: outside diameter, bolt pitch circle diameter, number of bolt holes and bolt hole diameter, then add flange thickness. Those five figures pin the flange to one table in the Table 10 series for that nominal bore. If you send the measurements, or a photo with a tape across the bolt circle, on WhatsApp to +91 99220 47887, our shop will identify the table and quote a matching replacement.
What material are your Table 10 flanges made from?
+
Standard supply is IS:2062 grade mild steel plate and bar, the same structural grade specified for flanged pipework in Indian water, sewage and general industrial service. Flanges leave the works in bare machined finish; red oxide primer, black bituminous coating or hot-dip galvanising can be applied on request. Material test certificates traceable to the steel supplier are issued with the consignment when asked for at order stage.
Which flange types besides Table 10 do you manufacture?
+
Alongside Table D, E, F and H drilling, I.S. Engineering Co. makes blind flanges for blanking pipe ends and nozzles, welding neck flanges with a long tapered hub for high pressure and thermal cycling duty, socket weld flanges for small bore instrument and hydraulic tappings, slip-on flat flanges welded inside and out for utility headers, male-female flanges with a spigot and recess that self-align and trap the gasket, and forged flanges where worked grain flow is required for critical service.
Can you machine flanges to our own drawing?
+
Yes. Non-standard outside diameter, bolt pitch circle, bore, thickness, hole count or hole size are all made to drawing. Send a PDF or DWG, or simply the five key figures of outside diameter, pitch circle diameter, hole count, hole diameter and thickness, and the works will come back with feasibility, weight per piece and a rate. Drawing-based jobs are common for pump and valve replacements where the original flange no longer matches any current table.
What does a Table 10 flange cost in Mumbai?
+
Price is driven by finished weight, so it moves with nominal bore, table letter, flange type and order quantity, and it tracks the prevailing mild steel plate rate. Buying from the works in Darukhana removes the trading margin that sits on top of most Mumbai market quotes. For a firm rate, send nominal bore, table letter, flange type, quantity and delivery location to +91 99220 47887 or sales.isengineeringco@gmail.com and a quotation follows within one working day.
Do you supply Table 10 flanges to South India?
+
Yes. Consignments move regularly from Darukhana, Mumbai to Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Salem, Hosur and Thoothukudi in Tamil Nadu, to Bengaluru, Mysuru, Hubballi and Mangaluru in Karnataka, to Hyderabad and Warangal in Telangana, to Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh, and to Kochi, Thrissur and Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala. Freight moves by road transport or rail depending on tonnage, and door delivery to site or to your consolidator is arranged on request.
Do you export flanges outside India?
+
Yes. I.S. Engineering Co. exports M.S. and Table 10 flanges to the Gulf, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Jebel Ali in the UAE, Muscat and Sohar in Oman, Doha in Qatar, Kuwait, and Dammam, Jubail, Riyadh and Yanbu in Saudi Arabia. Export consignments are supplied with commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin and material test certificates, packed in seaworthy crates or strapped on pallets to suit the shipping line.
What is the lead time for a flange order?
+
Common bores from 15mm to 200mm NB in the moving tables usually ship within three to seven working days. Larger bores from 250mm to 600mm NB, heavier Table F and Table H work, drawing-based jobs and bulk project quantities generally need seven to fifteen working days. If a shutdown or hydrotest date is driving the schedule, say so at enquiry stage on +91 99220 47887 and the job will be slotted against that date.
Do you issue material test certificates with your flanges?
+
Yes. Material test certificates traceable to the plate or bar supplier, plus a dimensional inspection record covering outside diameter, pitch circle diameter, hole count, hole diameter and thickness, are issued on request. Third-party inspection by TPI agencies can be arranged when the project specification calls for it. I.S. Engineering Co. is GST registered under GSTIN 27AMZPK5174G1ZE and raises a proper tax invoice on every supply.
